CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

Western Water Company COVID-19 coronavirus Update

As we continue to monitor developments regarding the COVID-19 coronavirus with updates from the Ohio EPA, CDC, AWWA, The World Health Organization as well as other Federal, State and Local agencies, we strive for the safety and well-being of our members, employees and the communities we serve. The most current research shows, COVID-19 coronavirus is not transmitted through public water systems.  The COVID-19 coronavirus is destroyed during the disinfection process at the water treatment plant.

Western Water Company has been preparing for these types of issues for years and will be in operation as normal.  We have taken many steps to safeguard our operations and minimize water service interruptions.  We are continually reviewing and updating our contingency plan to be able to continue operations through all types of scenarios.

We are currently sharing health and wellness/prevention tips from multiple health organizations with our employees. We are continuing to maintain clean workspaces for employees and for our members.  While it is impossible for anyone to predict the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus and fully understand its impact, Western Water Company will continue to focus on serving you with safe drinking water.

We strongly recommend that you take advantage of the available 24/7 account access at www.western-h2o.com.  Western Water Company online resources allow you to pay your bill and communicate water service issues.
