In response to the East Palestine, Ohio train derailment:

Western Water Company would like to address the concerns of our customers. Western Water Company’s main source of water is ground water from our wellfield along the little Miami river and not affected by the spill.  Our secondary source is from the Greater Cincinnati Water Works. Greater Cincinnati Water Works is monitoring and testing the water from the Ohio River.  We are monitoring the situation while working with multiple agencies. There are no concerns regarding water quality at this time. We will provide updates should there be any changes to the situation.
